Excellent book covering a huge portion of WWII Soviet combat vehicles. There are a ton of black and white photos, lots of line drawings, and a depth of information. Well worth reading for an overview of the origins and makeup of Soviet vehicles/5. By the eve of World War II, the Soviet Union had some of the world's best tanks (including the T and KV-1, which were basically a generation ahead, coming as a shock to the Wehrmacht).

However, it still had many older tanks in its front-line armoured forces, with the T forming the backbone of the Red Army's armoured forces during the Country: Australia, United Kingdom, Cuba, China.
